Who We AreI was born to be a teacher. Being a third generation teacher in my family has allowed me to learn from relatives, but most importantly from my mother, a retired elementary school teacher. After teaching English language learners in middle and high school, as well as community college, it is my time to inspire future teachers in the U.S. and abroad. My teaching profession has given me the privilege of teaching and meeting students from all over the world. It has been an excellent journey of learning and reflecting as a transnational man of color and educator who constantly advocates for social justice and equality in education.

purposeThis website contains resources and writings I have developed through my teaching career and researcher role. Throughout my twenty years of teaching in Panama and the United States in public and private schools, I have collected various samples of students' works and projects that allowed them to devevolp their target language. I have also been able to collect, write, and publish papers related to multicultural education, English teaching strategies, and Latin@s education in the U.S.
It is my goal that this website serves as an asset to other teachers, pre-service teachers, and scholars. |
